Junior M&E Advisor – GIZ Nigeria

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ Nigeria) is recruiting a Junior Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Advisor to support a project under the Economic Community of West African States Stabilisation Fund.

The project aims to improve youth employment and strengthen social cohesion in Guinea-Bissau, Niger, and Mali.

The advisor will contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management activities for the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research tasks for M&E planning and implementation

• Compile, analyse, and coordinate project data

• Support knowledge management and M&E systems

• Assist in quantitative and qualitative data collection

• Prepare terms of reference for M&E-related contracts

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, International Relations, or related field

Experience

• Not more than 3 years professional experience

• At least 1 year experience in an M&E-related role

Other Skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and databases

• French language skills desirable

• Knowledge of GIS is an advantage
