The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ Nigeria) is recruiting a Junior Advisor for the GP Soil Matters Project in Abuja.
The project focuses on transforming Nigeria’s soil health ecosystem into a data-driven system to support improved agricultural productivity.
The selected candidate will support project implementation, coordination, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities

Support implementation of project activities including soil fertility training
-
Coordinate and monitor project progress
-
Document activities and maintain project records
-
Contribute to communication, visibility, and stakeholder engagement
-
Support knowledge management and project databases
-
Organize and participate in fieldwork and thematic activities
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
-
Degree in Soil Sciences, Agricultural Science, Natural Resource Management, Water Management, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
Experience
-
Maximum of 3 years professional experience
-
Experience in soil science, agriculture, food security, or rural development
Other Skills
-
Experience with NGOs or CSOs desirable
-
Experience with GIZ Nigeria or ECOWAS is an advantage
