The University of Antwerp Global Health Institute in Belgium is offering its International Short Course in Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Qualitative Research Methods (EBQ) for the 2026 edition. This six-week intensive training programme provides foundational and practical skills in epidemiology, medical statistics, and qualitative research methods, tailored for researchers, PhD students, and health professionals.

Participants will engage in a balanced blend of theoretical sessions and hands-on work, including data analysis with statistical software, systematic review methods, and research design applications. Throughout the course, each participant will have the opportunity to work with their own dataset under the guidance of experienced tutors, enhancing their ability to conduct rigorous health research.

The EBQ course also promotes peer interaction and networking in a diverse international environment and culminates in a certificate of attendance upon completion.
