LSTM Scholarships for September 2026 Intake — Mamco Selab & Thomas Mark Awards

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) has announced two scholarship opportunities for students applying to the September 2026 intake. These scholarships are aimed at supporting talented individuals pursuing postgraduate education in tropical medicine, infectious diseases, and global health, with a strong emphasis on returning home to contribute to local health systems after completion of studies.

Available Scholarships

Mamco Selab Scholarship
This scholarship is targeted at Nigerian applicants who intend to return to Nigeria after completing their studies. It is open to candidates applying for Diploma, Master’s, or PhD programmes at LSTM across eligible disciplines.

Thomas Mark Scholarship
This scholarship is designed for applicants with a paediatric background or specialism who plan to return to their home country after graduation. It is available to those applying for a full-time, on-campus Master’s programme at LSTM.

These scholarships reflect LSTM’s commitment to capacity building, global health leadership, and strengthening health systems in low- and middle-income countries.
