The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is now accepting applications for its inaugural AI Fellows Program, a fully paid, 12-month Fellowship designed to harness artificial intelligence for global health, development, and education.
As a Gates AI Fellow, you will be embedded within key program areas—such as Global Health, Gender Equality, Global Development, and Global Growth & Opportunity—to co-design and implement ethical, scalable AI solutions. Your work may include building AI-powered tools, developing diagnostics and dashboards, designing educational simulations, and enabling AI adoption in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Applications are open until September 19, 2025, for the cohort beginning in November.

Salary Range: $148,920–$162,350 annually
