The British Academy International Fellowships 2026 programme is now accepting applications from outstanding early-career researchers who wish to undertake high-quality research in the United Kingdom. This prestigious fellowship, jointly run by the British Academy and the Royal Society, supports researchers to make the first significant step toward an independent research career through a two-year placement at a UK research institution.

Eligibility Highlights:

Must hold a PhD (or be in the final stages, with viva completed by the awards committee meeting date).

Have no more than five years of full-time postdoctoral experience (excluding career breaks).
