Young Talents Program (Junior Lecturer Chair) – Antibiotic Resistance & One Health | HARMI Project (France)
Applications are invited for a Tenure-Eligible Junior Lecturer Chair position under the Young Talents Program within the HARMI ExcellencES Project (Harnessing Microbiomes for Sustainable Development), funded by the French Government’s France 2030 Investment Program.
This position supports outstanding early-career researchers to lead an independent research project focused on antibiotic resistance in human pathogens within a One Health framework, integrating human, animal, and environmental health perspectives.
The successful candidate will be based at the Université Marie et Louis Pasteur (UMLP) in Besançon, within the UMR 6249 Chrono-environnement Department, a large interdisciplinary research environment bringing together microbiologists, ecologists, molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, and mathematicians. The fellow will join the Pathogenic Agents research section and benefit from access to advanced research platforms including a microbial biobank, molecular biology facilities, animal facilities, and bioinformatics resources.

Eligibility
-
PhD in Microbiology or a related field

At least five years of post-PhD research experience

Strong publication record in international peer-reviewed journals

Experience in antibiotic resistance and microbial epidemiology is highly desirable

Experience in project leadership and supervision is an advantage
