Sub-Saharan Africa Health Research and Innovation Fellowship 2026 (Fully Funded)

The Sub-Saharan Africa Health Research and Innovation Fellowship Program is now open for applications. This is a fully funded three-year fellowship designed to support talented mid-career researchers who are committed to advancing biomedical innovation and clinical research across sub-Saharan Africa.

The fellowship aims to develop a new generation of research leaders who will address major infectious disease and public health challenges affecting the African continent. Fellows will receive intensive training, research support, and international exposure to strengthen their leadership, innovation, and scientific impact.

This program is supported by leading global health institutions and is co-funded by the European Union, ensuring a high-quality, internationally recognized research experience.

Researchers working in health, biomedical science, infectious diseases, or related fields across sub-Saharan Africa are strongly encouraged to apply.
