It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Bello Muhammad Suleiman, our esteemed member, and immediate past Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina.

His contributions to medicine, institutional leadership, and the growth of our professional community were significant and enduring. He served with distinction, dedication and a commitment to excellence that inspired many.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and all who were touched by his leadership and mentorship.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

The Ahmadu Bello University Muslim Doctors Alumni Foundation (ABUMDAF) has released the Fourth Edition of its Bi-Annual Newsletter (December 2025 | Jumada Thani/Rajab 1447AH), featuring key updates on the foundation’s activities, leadership, mentorship initiatives, and scholarly engagements.

This edition highlights the Speech by the Chairman, Board of Trustees at the Annual General Meeting, Mentor’s Hour, ABUMDAF Roundtable Discussions, the unveiling of the foundation’s Pioneer EXCOs, and the Maiden Edition of the “Brain-Drain, Home-Gain” Series.
