We successfully held our roundtable discussion on the topic: The Last Minute of a Dying Muslim: Kalimatusshahada or More Chest Compressions?

The programme recorded a very large attendance, reflecting both the relevance of the topic and the growing interest in ABUMDAF and its activities.

One of the key takeaways from the discussion was that, where resuscitation is indicated, it should not be viewed as a choice between Kalimatusshahada and chest compressions. Rather, both can and should be pursued together, ensuring that patients receive appropriate medical care while being gently encouraged towards the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Shahadah.
