FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Up to $150K for Innovative Women's Health Metrics Women's health has long been underrepresented and poorly measured in global health frameworks. Traditional metrics-such as Disability-Adjusted Life Years (DALY)-fail to capture the multidimensional and gender-sensitive factors shaping health outcomes. To bridge this critical gap, the Gates Foundation is launching a Grand Challenges RFP to develop new, innovative approaches to measuring women's health globally. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR This call invites bold, data-driven approaches that: ? Reimagine women's health measurement beyond traditional indicators ? Leverage existing datasets to quantify health outcomes across countries ? Integrate gendered, socio-cultural, & economic determinants of health ? Enable cross-country or subnational comparisons to highlight disparities ? Develop policy-relevant insights that drive real-world change FUNDING & SUPPORT ? Grants of up to $150,000 USD per project Project duration: 18-24 months ?
